THE UNIVERSAL PRAYER
Weekday — Prayers of the Faithful
PRIEST · INTRODUCTION
As we gather in Christ, let us bring before God the needs of the Church and the world, trusting in his boundless care for all his people.
Lord, hear our prayer.
For the Church, that she may grow in gratitude and generosity, sharing the gifts God has entrusted to her with joy and confidence.
Let us pray to the Lord.
For those who lead nations and communities, that they may govern with justice and seek the common good of all people.
Let us pray to the Lord.
For those struggling with poverty and material need, that they may find relief and experience the dignity that comes from your provision.
Let us pray to the Lord.
For the sick and those who care for them, that Christ's healing touch may bring comfort and restore them to health.
Let us pray to the Lord.
For our parish community, that we may support one another with kindness and live as witnesses to your love in our daily lives.
Let us pray to the Lord.
For those who have died, that they may rest in peace and share in the joy of your eternal kingdom.
Let us pray to the Lord.
