Silver jubilee of religious profession
A twenty-fifth anniversary of religious profession is a time of thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness and prayer for the years ahead. Adapt the name and the community’s customary title without making the intercessions a record of achievements.
Original intention: For Sister Maria on her silver jubilee of religious profession, that God may renew her joy and sustain her in faithful service.
For a prayer service outside Mass, plan a short gathering with the community: a welcome, an appropriate Scripture passage, thanksgiving, intercessions and a closing prayer. This is a planning outline, not an approved ritual text.
If a celebration includes the renewal of vows or another ritual action, use the community’s approved form and seek the responsible superior’s and celebrant’s direction. Do not turn an online example into a new profession formula.

Do these replace the litany at religious profession?
No. Use the approved Order of Religious Profession for the rite itself. These sets are for prayer surrounding profession and for ordinary parish use where appropriate.
Can these be adapted for temporary or perpetual profession?
For a surrounding parish intention, yes. Name the stage accurately and ask briefly for faithfulness, peace, and support. The actual ritual texts depend on the profession being celebrated.
Should the vows be explained in the petition?
No. A short prayer for the person or community is enough. Formation and explanation belong outside the spoken intercessions.
