It can be a starting point, but each celebration has its own focus and readings. Adapt a phrase carefully and use the correct title rather than changing only a date.
Should these intentions be addressed to Mary?
These sets present the community’s needs to God. Their brief Marian references keep the Mass’s intercessory focus clear without turning the Universal Prayer into a separate litany.
Must Mary’s name appear in every petition?
No. Naming the celebration in the introduction and including one fitting petition is enough. The wider needs of the Church and the world remain present.
