These sets help make that final focus concrete while beginning with the Church, public life, and those who suffer. Add a parish name or one current local concern if it is useful. Avoid using the intentions as notices about events or as thanks to a long list of people. A simple petition for peace, strength, welcome, or practical help is easier for the whole congregation to share.

What counts as a local community intention?
A prayer for the parish, its households, neighbours, volunteers, or a current local need can serve this purpose. It should ask for God’s help in a way the congregation can share.
Can parish events be mentioned?
Yes, briefly, when a real need for prayer is clear. An intention for those preparing for a sacrament or undertaking service is fitting; dates, ticket details, and announcements belong elsewhere.
Should we include private intentions?
You may allow a brief silence for personal needs. If used, keep it calm and clear. GIRM 71 allows prayer in silence; this site does not treat a separate silent intention as a required extra petition.
