Prepare with young people
Invite actual concerns and let young people review the language. An adult can support brevity and privacy without replacing their voice with a stereotype of how young people speak.

A travel or gathering petition may ask for safety, friendship, and openness to the Gospel. Verify the location, dates, and participation before implying that the parish is represented at an event.

Is a youth Mass only for students?
No. Young people may be working, seeking work, caring for others, or following another path. Include that variety when choosing the particular needs.
Can the response be different from the usual one?
Agree it with the parish before the celebration and make it easy for everyone to join. A familiar, consistently used response is usually clearer than several changing ones.
Should the prayers include trendy language?
Use words the readers would naturally understand, but avoid forced slang. Clear, sincere speech is more useful than trying to sound fashionable.
